Given the limited accessibility to a scenic skyline or an expansive waterfront along the western suburbs, it can be quite difficult to chance upon a restaurant that offers a scrumptuous brunch complemented by a great view. Here are five brunches that should make your day and set you for the week ahead. So, let's raise a toast to getting lost in the wilderness of westcoast.

The view from Citrus is possibly one of the most beautiful views that the suburbs offer. With a tropical waterfall and garden, followed by the pool and lush green foliage, you would be forgiven for believing you are on a vacation. With one of the widest brunch spreads in the city, the Citrus Sunday brunch is well worth the travel—and Sakinaka is not half as scary on a weekend. Cuisines served at Citrus include South Indian, North Indian, Thai, Continental, Middle Eastern and the latest addition of Japanese across live stations and the buffet. Abhisek Basu, Food and Beverage Manager, The Leela Mumbai, says, "The lush green and seamless water stream view from the all-day dining restaurant makes for the perfect Sunday getaway."

Perched perfectly at the tip of the Bandra promenade, Land's End is an iconic location. And Vista at Taj Land's End attracts patrons for the Sunday brunch not just for the stunning view of the sunny horizon, but the spread of the buffet too. "Get there early to enjoy a great seating," is what the restaurant manager suggests. Serving most cuisines from across the world, the place is abuzz with its multiple live counters operating across the restaurant. With the dessert section tucked away in a corner ensuring you earn your indulgence, it's a treat once you trod through. Although the place doesn't have any special activities for chidren, the range of the spread should keep the young ones occupied through the afternoon.

As a hotel that boasts of Juhu in its address, a beautiful landscape is something one comes to expect and the Lotus Café does not dissappoint one bit. The lotus pond, green lawns, infinity pool all overlooking the sultry Juhu beach make for an ideal Sunday. With the latest addition of seafood to its wide spread, the Lotus Café brunch is among the most popular in North Mumbai. Pavithran Nambiar, General Manager, JW Marriott, Mumbai shares, "We offer a resort-like feeling and vibe with our gardens, lotus ponds, infinity pool and the Arabian Sea. The natural sunlight along with the glass walls make it a guest's delight."

A quaint property that you might lose your way to, Waterstones Hotel is quite a find once you arrive there. Situated at an unlikely location, Bar & Grill can be a welcome break for a weary westcoaster. Focussing on grills and stake, the team specialises in lamb and lobster preparations. While there is no specific brunch, the lunch buffet is set. The landscaping complete with al fresco seating and ample space for children to play around in is the perfect spot to retire and unwind over the weekend.

While a long line of traffic doesn't awaken pleasant feeings in a Mumbaikar, looking down on it from the 18th floor while you enjoy a Sunday brunch with family can be a heady feeling. Although you can muster a table with a view of the Aarey span if you arrive early enough, the city view is what you are more likely to get. With the offer of Indian, Asian, Lebanese and Mexican amongst other cuisines, your taste buds will experience more twists and turns than those on the Western Express Highway that you'd see winding below. A separate children's section hosting a variety of activities over weeks ensures the little ones are taken care of while you sit back and soak in the sun.
Anuraag Bhatnagar, Area General Manager, The Westin Mumbai Garden City says, "All our guests love to gaze out on the spectacular views of the charming green reserves and India's Tinseltown as they savour our gourmet Sunday brunch."
