BEST feeder service to link Metro station with BKC hub

Transport undertaking BEST has launched a feeder service to cater to commuters from Western Express Highway Metro station to Bandra Kurla Complex and back. An AC bus will be available around every 40 minutes initially. 

Officials said, the feeder service of buses from WEH Metro station to BKC Telephone Exchange starts at 8.00 am and closes at 17.20 pm. The feeder service of buses from BKC Telephone Exchange to WEH Metro station starts at 8.40 am and closes at 18.00 pm. 

The fare ranges from Rs 21 to Rs 53, said officials. With the cost-effective option, BEST, which has been in the red for quite some time, hopes to generate some profit on the route. 

The WEH Metro station has an average weekday ridership of around 23,500, said officials.
