The urn containing the ashes of Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray reached from Mumbai and was taken to Patiala, a Sena leader said.

The urn containing the ashes of Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray reached here on Wednesday from Mumbai and was taken to Patiala, a Sena leader said.
"The urn containing ashes of the Balasaheb reached from Mumbai by a flight. It was taken to Patiala, where people will pay tributes to the departed leader tomorrow after which it will be taken to Haridwar for immersion," Sena's Punjab unit Vice President Inderjit Karwal said.
A number of Sena leaders including state unit chief Virender Bajaj were present at the airport to receive the urn.
