Almost a month after the University of Mumbai started the revaluation process, thousands of students are still awaiting their results as revaluation work was still to start till Tuesday evening.
With the delay in declaration of results, the university started the revaluation process in the month of August. Till date, over 50,000 students have registered for revaluation. However, as the university is yet to begin revaluation work, all these students have to now undergo a longer wait.
Several such students have been queuing up outside the university’s Kalina campus to find out the status of their queries. While queries of students who were wrongly marked absent and given zero marks were addressed immediately, those scoring lower marks had to apply for revalaution.
“I have applied for revaluation in the first week of August but haven’t got my result still. After going to the university several times, all I have been told is that the result would be out soon,” said an Arts student on the condition of anonymity.
“Despite scoring well in all the other subjects I have got 8 marks in one of the subjects which is impossible. However with the university’s lax approach, there is no option but to wait for the revaluation results,” the student said.
