AAP's Anjali Damania slams NCP's Chhagan Bhujbal on Twitter

Anjali Damania, Aam Aadmi Party leader in state lashed out at NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal on Monday. In a tweet, Damania alleged that Bhujbal, through his associates, was asking her to back off from cases she is pursuing against him.

The tweet read "Mr Chaggan Bhujbal your associate came to my house just now to ask me to back off from you case. I warn you don't dare to do this with me"

Around two weeks ago, Damania along with her associates had filed a complaint with the anti-corruption bureau (ACB). She alleged that the family had amassed wealth over their known source of income and had various properties and investments across the world.

"A lady named Kalpana Inamdar came to my house. She is a patient of a doctor friend of mine and had actually come to meet him. It was around noon that my friend called to say that Inamdar is keen on taking up slum issues and wanted to meet me. At 3 pm, we met and had a discussion on various issues. It is around this time she sought a private moment with me," said Damania, of her meeting with Inamdar at her Santa Cruz residence.

She added, "It is around this time that she requested me to not pursue the cases against Bhujbal. She even said 'we are willing to do whatever you want'. I told her we work on siddhant (principles) and that she should see the kind of wrongs they have done. It was not so much threatening as it was buying us out. We warned her that some senior Congress leaders and associates would also be exposed soon," said Damania.

She added, "I have informed the ACB and legal opinion is being sought on how to go about with it." dna tried contacting Bhujbal and the ACB, but there as no response from either.
