600 Indian Institute of Planning and Management students await their degrees

Students of Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM), who were scheduled to graduate in July 2013, are awaiting their results. Over 600 students pursuing their BBA, BCA and MBA course at IIPM in affiliation to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, TN, have not received their results. 

Avkash Jadhav, Shiv Sena member said that the university has informed them that the results have been withheld due to non-payment of fees. Clarifying the issue, Abhik Mukherjee, dean, IIPM, Mumbai said, “There was problems between the University and IIPM. We’ve taken up the matter to the Chennai HC. The verdict is on Jan 9, after which the students can expect their results.”
