A parent of a six-year-old, first grade student of Saraswati Mandir School, CBSE has approached the Mahim Police with a complaint alleging that his son, who had underwent an appendicitis operation in October, was made to stand outside the principal’s room for five hours for non payment of fees.

The parent, Nitin Waghmare, alleged that his son was made to stand outside the principal’s room from 8 am till 1 pm on Monday. He added that his boy was suppose to sit for an exam on Monday that he had missed due to his operation last month. He also said that he was not informed about the second term fees, adding that he will also file a complaint with the Child Rights Commission now. However, an official of the school management denied all the allegations.
