Tata Motors launched its new compact hatch, GenX Nano, today. This version of Tata Nano has come up with latest state­of­the­art technological advancements.

Designed for light steering, this car continues to innovate and evolve for the needs of the customers. The all­new GenX Nano range has features specially for the young, trendy, bold and stylish customers.

Starting at Rs 1.99 lakhs, this car has connectivity features like Bluetooth, CD, Radio, USB and AUX­in segments. It comes with Electric Power Assisted Steering (ePAS) designed for light steering for easy movement in tight parking and driving situations in cities.

The GenX Nano will be available for sale, across the country in over 450 Tata Motors sales outlets starting from today.

The company has introduced two variants­ XMA and XTA with 'Easy Shift' Automated Manual Transmission. The XMA variant will be available for sales from August 2015 and the XTA variant will be available post national launch.

The XMA variant will be available at Rs 2.69 lakhs and XTA variant at Rs 2.89 lakhs.

Mayank Pareek, President, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors Ltd., said, “The new GenX Nano is a smart, stylish, efficient and a practical city car which has strong potential in the compact hatch segment.”

“It continues to remain an important brand in our passenger vehicle portfolio and we have been constantly evolving the product to deliver the most relevant city car features like Easy Shift, Power Steering, the hatch access, Bluetooth connectivity and so on, for the Indian market,” he added.

GenX can now be accessed more easily through its openable hatch and 94 litre bootspace. This car is a result of constant feedback from existing and potential consumers.

Conceived around two years ago, this smart city car has been developed under three categories-Designext, Drivenext and Connectnext.

Mainly targeted at the young hearts, GenX has a wide range of specially designed accessories like Door Visors. Sunroof, Art Leather Seat Covers, Decals, Body kit, Reverse Parking Sensors, etc. It is also going to offer the new range with the best­in­segment warranty of 4 years or 60,000 km.

Tata Motors has tied up with preferred financial partners for attractive rates on car loans.

First launched in 2009, the Tata Nano versions are evolving with time and promises customers with the best features that it can provide.
