Tata Motors, including Jaguar Land Rover, sold over 1 lakh cars in wholesale in September, up 5% from the same period last year.
According to a notification sent to the BSE, Tata Motors' global wholesale sales in the month were at 1,02,289 units, up 5% from last year.
Tata Motors sold 67,895 units of its passenger vehicles in wholesale, up 7% from September 2015, it said in the statement.
"Cumulative passenger vehicle wholesales for the fiscal were 348,429 vehicles, higher by 6%, over FY15-16," the notice said.
The carmaker's shares were trading down 0.1% or Rs 0.55 lower at Rs 565.15 apiece.
Overall, Jaguar Land Rover sold 52,914 models in wholesale, which included wholesale of 6,539 units of a model from the JV between Chery Automobiles and JLR.
"Jaguar's wholesales for the month were 16,221 units versus Land Rover's wholesales of 36,703 in September," the carmaker told the BSE.
