British Prime Minister David Cameron on Friday said that his deep partnership with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi covers nuclear, defence and security issues.

"Prime Minister Modi and I discussed in depth problems of security, terrorism and how we want to have a really strong partnership", he said after the event at Wembley Stadium where Prime Minister Modi addressed the Indian diaspora.

He emphasised that Britain could bring a lot of assistance for India in various fields.

"India needs to raise money for infrastructure, London is the best place to raise that money. India wants to see the development of green technology, we have a lot of expertise in that area", he said.

"Whether it is training the skills for young people in India, whether its building roads and railways and green energy projects, whether its the new smart cities, all of these things are where Britain has expertise and the real drive to help carry forward his vision," Cameron said.

"I think Britain can really help to deliver PM Modi's vision for India," he added.
