Finance Bill to be passed by Parliament before March 31: Jaitley

Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, on Tuesday, announced that the Finance Bill would be passed by the Parliament before March 31, 2017. According to ANI, Jaitley made this announcement while addressing the financial advisors of various ministers. He also released the revised general financial rules during the address.

A Finance bill is a secret bill which is introduced in the Lok Sabha immediately after the Presentation of the Union Budget. The bill gives effect to the financial proposals of the Government of India for the following financial year. More details to the announcement are awaited.
