There are some interesting smartphones which will be unveiled this June. Here’s a quick look at five smartphones that you should be excited about this month. 

Moto Z2 Play

The Moto Z2 Play is set to launch in India on June 8. The smartphone flaunts a 5.5-inch, 1080p AMOLED display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC under the hood. The smartphone is paired with 3GB or 4GB of RAM. There is also an option to expand the storage further via a microSD card up to 64GB. On the photography front, the smartphone sports a 12-megapixel dual-pixel autofocus camera with f/1.7. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 and dual LED flash. Armed with a 3,000mAh battery, the smartphone comes with support to TurboPower which the company claims is good enough to last up to 30 hours of battery life between charges.


Oppo R11

Oppo has launched a new smartphone dubbed the Oppo R11. It will be available in China in Gold, Rose Gold and Black color variants. However, no details regarding price or its availability in India have been announced. It is rumoured to be priced at $485 (approximately Rs 31,200).

In terms of specifications, it features a 5.5-inch full-HD display with a 1080x1920 pixels resolution. It is powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM. Running Android 7.1 Nougat, the smartphone includes an internal memory of 64GB. It comes equipped with a 20MP rear camera along with a 16MP front-facing camera. It also includes some features such as 2X optical zoo, Qualcomm Spectra ISP and Portrait Mode. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, GPS and Wi-Fi. A 2900mAh battery completes the package.


OnePlus 5

The OnePlus 5 was initially rumoured to release on June 15 but rumours now indicate thta the smartphone may be unveiled on June 20. 

On the rumour front, the smartphone opts for a Full HD 1080p display and would be backed up by a 3600mAh battery. Reportedly, it would offer 25 percent faster charging compared to existing OnePlus 3T. It will either sport a 64GB or 128GB storage variant which can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card. The smartphone will most likely run Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box with OxygenOS on top. It is expected to be priced at $449 (approximately Rs 29,000).


Honor 9

The Honor 9, which will be unveiled on June 12, is rumoured to feature a 5.15-inch display with Full HD resolution. It is powered by a Kirin 960 chipset, paired with 4GB or 6GB RAM. It includes an internal storage of 64GB which can be further expanded via microSD card. It includes a dual-camera setup with a 20MP and 12MP rear sensors. It also comes equipped with an 8MP front-facing camera. A 3100 mAh battery completes the package.


Nokia 3, 5 and 6

The three devices are set to launch in India on June 13. In terms of specifications, the Nokia 3 sports a 5-inch display, MediaTek MTK 6737 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage along with a microSD card slot. It includes an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. A 2,650mAh battery completes the package.

The Nokia 5 includes a 5.2-inch display and is powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. It includes an internal storage of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB. It comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera along with an 8MP front-facing camera. A 3,000mAh battery completes the package.

The Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch display, Snapdragon 430 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and an internal storage of 32GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. It comes equipped with a 16MP rear camera along with an 8MP front-facing camera. A 3,000mAh battery completes the package. The smartphone was well received after its initial release in the Chinese market and managed to garner 250,000 pre-orders within the first 24 hours.
