Paying tribute to Late Natraj Gopi Krishna — the outstanding dancer of his time, Nritya Samagam has organised the Natraj Gopi Krishna Nrityotsav 2010, which brings together some of the best talents in Indian dance forms.
    
Expected guests for the evening include actor Raveena Tandon, singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya and actor Adah Sharma.  The underlying idea behind organizing the entire programme is to get together the students and the gurus of the Indian classical dance forms at the same platform.

Founder director of Nritya Samagam, Guru Rajendra Chaturvedi believes, “This is an opportunity for the amateurs of classical dance and music to watch the maestros perform and draw inspiration from them.”

Starting with a Gopi Krishna vandana performed by the students of Natraj Gopi Krishna Institute, the programme will comprises of a series of events. Solo artists Mr Rajiv Rajan (kathak dancer) from Patna, Mr. Vidhwan Unnath H.R (bharatnatyam dancer) from Hassan, and Parveen Gangani (kathak dancer) from Delhi will be seen performing next.

No doubt, this dance extravaganza will be a treat for the dance lovers, who will get to see several artists from various cities in different repertory, perform together.
