If you are the type who loves being and running outside during winter, it may be time you look for different footwear that helps you stay warm and keeps them dry during workouts. Lalit Kishore, MD, Globalite Industry who shares a few tips with us says, “With the right socks and shoes, any runner can carry on their love for outside sport during the coldest months without their feet suffering. All it takes is the right choice.”

Before considering the shoes, one has to purchase a decent pair of socks. You need to choose a very warm pair of socks that will wick away any sweat, keep feet dry and keep them from getting cold.

   First,  you need to look for a good layering in your shoes. A single layer shoe will certainly keep your feet warm during your runs.

   Comfort is another major factor to be considered. If it doesn’t fit you properly, you might get a muscle strain.

   Another thing you should look for is shock absorbing. A proper cushioning should take care of this for you. A shoe with good shock absorbing ability, will protect your muscles and joints from a running scheme.

    For those who might be running in the snow or sleet, a waterproof or water resistant trail running shoe might be a good idea and there are plenty of good options in the market.

Trail running shoes are sturdier and provide more grip than regular running shoes meant for the road or sidewalks so the sport lover can go for this one.
