Exhibition on Mother Teresa's life in Delhi next week

Mother Teresa's life—from her early days to her experiences in Missionaries of Charity—will be brought alive at an exhibition in the national capital next week.

To commemorate the 100th birth anniversary of the Albanian-origin nun, the UNESCO will hold an exhibition with photographs, pictures and portraits from Monday to August 31.

Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit and Union minister of state for HRD D Purandeswari will inaugurate the exhibition titled 'Mother Teresa -- A Life Dedicated' at the India Habitat Centre on Monday.

The exhibition will showcase images captured by photographer Raghu Rai, the nun's photographs from the Missionaries of Charity and the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India.

Organised by the UNESCO, the exhibition is supported by the Consulate of the Republic of Albania.

The exhibition will also be on view from October 9 to October 30 at the Rabindranath Tagore Centre in Kolkata, an UNESCO release said.
