My Dubai trip was one of the most memorable ones. I had gone there with a few of my friends and had a blast. I never thought it would be so much fun. I am not much of a foodie but I love to shop like any girl does, my favourite mall there was the Mall of the Emirates, it’s amazing how every brand there has so much of variety. I am not a very brand-conscious person but many local brands caught my eye.
I also loved the Dubai mall and went crazy there. My trip, which was only for a week, went on to a good 11 days. I found the women there to be lovely — they are exremely fashionable too!
Dhow cruise and safari
There is this particular Dhow cruise, it starts at night and covers all of Dubai. It’s so enchanting, the entire experience with this lavish dinner laid for you it takes a couple of hours but you don’t even know when the cruise gets over. The full day Desert Hatta Safari is beautiful, it takes you through the magnificient dunes in Dubai and ends with bellydancing. I couldn’t imagine how women there can shake their belly so well and I used to call myself a good dancer (smiles). There is also the sunset safari which I highly recommend. I think Dubai looks the best at that time. It’s followed by BBQ dinner and I though am not a foodie I definitely did gorge on good food there.
Shopping too
Dubai is known for its shopping, it has many shopping bargains and everything from precious gold to Persian rugs can be bought at incredible prices. The best place to find them is at the traditional souks. The few days I had there I could only have a look at the above but I definitely plan to go there soon again and cover other places I could not manage to visit earlier.
