Archana Kocchar must design my wedding 'lehenga': Anjana Sukhani

She’s cute and talented. And this evening, actor Anjana Sukhani is in the city to walk for designer Archana Kochhar at the sixth season of the Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week. “I’ve known Archana for a few years now and love the traditional outfits that she manages to create so effortlessly. In fact, I always tell her that whenever I get married, Archana must design my wedding lehenga. It’s not an easy job to be stylish, yet aesthetic while designing Indian clothes but she manages to do just that,” states Anjana. Hence, being showstopper for her was something the actor didn’t need to think much about. “Anjana will be seen in a floor length jacket and lehenga in deep blue, complete with some intricate antique gold work on it. The ensemble will have just the right amount of embellishment on it — nothing too loud or over-the-top,” states Archana. Anjana feels that it’s always a pleasure to be seen in an outfit designed by her. “The fit is just right and the balance of colours great. You are bound to have people walk up to you and praise the clothes. Archana’s designs always have a feel-good factor about them,” she signs off.
