Why full moon turns everyone into lunatics

A recent study on full moon has revealed that it turns everyone into lunatics. The study says that one sleep less deeply to guard against attack and the dreams are "weird and bizarre", Daily Star reported. Top sleep scientist Richard Wiseman said that at Full Moon, people dream they are Superman but at other times they dream of just being in the office.

According to the study, police and hospital workers say that people are wilder at this time and there is a hike in strange accidents. One myth says the Moon is blue when it was full but a "Blue Moon" is simply the name for the fourth full moon to occur in a season and it does not change color. Some believe it helps women get pregnant and that the magnetic pull of the moon helps a man's sperm to successfully penetrate an egg.
