New Arrival Lounge at Abu Dhabi
If you’ve just landed in Abu Dhabi and it’s too early to check-in at your hotel to freshen-up before you head out for the day, you can go to Etihad Airways’ newly opened, first Arrivals Lounge at the Abu Dhabi International Airport. Located right after customs, passengers are invited to refresh and rejuvinate before leaving the airport. Business and first class guests can avail of facilities like a complimentary service to steam your clothes in 10 minutes, 10 shower units and the ‘SHAVE’ concept, where qualified barbers will give you a wet shave. Should you need to go over your presentation before your meeting, the lounge also has a business facility, which features a large-screen Apple computer as well as broadband and wi-fi connections. You can also unwind in their dedicated relaxation area with highcomfort seating, large-screen televisions and a host of local and international newspapers, magazines and books. Devour café-style refreshments, which include a delicious breakfast, hot and cold beverages, and a range of canapés, snacks and sweet treats, inspired by gourmet flavours from around the world.
Going Vegan at Taj
It’s been a year since Maritime by San Lorenzo, the iconic Knightsbridge restaurant of Taj Mahal Palace in Colaba, made its international debut in India and in keeping with the anniversary spirit, the restaurant recently unveiled a revamped menu. With an addition of gluten-free and vegan options, the restaurant has also increased their number of vegetarian choices. In addition to their new introductions, their menu continues to include the restaurant’s signature dishes–Spaghetti Schillaci, Spaghetti ai gamberi, Pomfret alla piastara, Risotto Gamberi e Zucchini and Spigola alla griglia as well as Scallopa di pollo ai limone, Spezzato di agnello alla menta, Tordelli alla lucchese, and Raviolli burro e salvia.
