Girard-Perregaux
The new bracelet of Girard-Perregaux’s Chrono Hawk line instills power and elegance into this resolutely masculine range. Its asymmetric case formed of successive planes marks its modern character. It’s bezel is divided into two parts; one circular and the other octagonal, creating a unique visual effect. The technical dial, perfectly legible and built on several levels, features the famous Girard-Perregaux tourbillon bridge. In this all-steel version, you can choose between two colours: silver and metallic blue. The self-winding movement GP03300 displays hours, minutes, seconds, the date and has a chronograph function.
A. Lange & Sohne
Germany’s second A. Lange & Söhne boutique recently opened to the public in Munich. The rooms are designed to take visitors on a journey through the manufacturer’s Saxon homeland. The typical Lange grey of the showcases, a small library, and a watchmaker’s workstation accentuate the ambience of the 37-square-metre boutique. “Many people with an affinity for beautiful watches live in and around Munich. From the very beginning, A. Lange & Söhne has had a loyal and growing community of fans here,” mentions Andreas Haude, General Manager Northern Europe at Lange.

The Seamaster Planet Ocean 45.5 mm Sochi 2014 limited edition watch for men has a 45.5 mm brushed and polished stainless steel case and a matching bracelet. The applied indexes on the matt black dial are coated with white Super-LumiNova as are the polished, faceted rhodium-plated hands; they emit a blue light. The exception is the minute hand, which emits a green light, as does the dot at 12 o’clock on the diving bezel. The timepiece has a brushed screw-in caseback embossed with the Sochi 2014 Olympic logo and engraved with Si14 and the limited edition number (0000/2014).
