The city may not have the harsh winter of the north but that shouldn't stop you from upgrading your closet with the season's chic offerings. Designer duo Lecoanet Hemant's A/W'14 collection is inspired by volcanoes, ice flows, fossils and lava. They have created a line of statement looks and easy separates in striking silhouettes. Wilderness features pencil skirts, peplum tops, dresses, coats, jackets and pants composed of unexpected textile combinations.

The line experiments with fabrics such as handmade embroidered lace, woven leather and silk cloque - all materials unique to the brand fashioned by them at their Indian atelier. With their expertise in couture, the designers' focus on shape is reflected highly in their cocoon coats and jackets, flawlessly cut skirts

and trousers, foiled boucle and laser-cut ruffle taffeta combinations. The cutwork and the 3D sequins appliqué embellishments add that essential hint of glamour.

Talking about the inspiration for the new collection, Hemant says, "For this season we have integrated cutting edge technology and unique craftsmanship to create a luxury collection for the modern woman. We continue to create pieces with clean cuts and flattering silhouettes that can be effortlessly worn for lunch meetings, and repurposed into looks for an evening out."
