If you happened to open social media and by any chance clicked on the hashtag #Budweiser on Thursday, you would have been surprised to see the amount of memes that were being thrown in the direction of the popular beer brand.

The meme fest was launched on Twitter after a "report" went viral, claiming that a Budweiser employee has acknowledged having been pissing into beer tanks for 12 years. This came as shock for booze lovers, especially those who are fans of popular American brand Budweiser.

But trust the Twitterati to turn a piece of shocking news into a joke. Which is what happened on Thursday as Twitter users flooded the micro-blogging website with memes and jokes.

Here we take a look at some of those tweets:

According to the viral article, an employee named Walter Powell (name changed) revealed that he has been peeing inside the beer tanks for the last 12 years. The report claimed that Walter only worked in Budweiser Brewery Experience (Fort Collins, Colorado) and the rest of Budweisers made in other cities are free of piss.

"Is like a Russian Roulette, sometimes when I am with my friends, and they ask for Budweiser, I blush and say to myself, poor guys," the report quoted Walter as saying.

The report further went on to claim that the 75% of Budweiser beer is made in Budweiser Brewery Experience so there is high probability that you have drank Walter's piss if you have consumed  Budweiser beer.

If you are wondering about the authenticity of the said report, here is a fact check we did for you. Our quick verdict: It's FAKE news!
