Favourite place to de-stress...

I love the early morning and late-night walks at Bandstand. The sea and its serenity make a perfect combination to attain peace of mind and relax one's nerves.

Bandra vs. any other neighbourhood in Mumbai...

I love South Mumbai's vast history and depth of stories. Also, many of my teenage years' memories are attached to places, restaurants and theatres in SoBo—like Leopolds and Cafe Churchill, late-night English movies at Eros theatre, New Year's parties at Navy Nagar and U.S. club.

Rate the safety level of your locality on a scale of 1 to 10...

My neighbourhood at large is pretty safe with decent families living around. But, there's no harm in being cautious and alert towards our surroundings.

A food joint you’d recommend...

Khar and Bandra are melting pots of diverse cultures and people. One of my recent favourite food joints is this quaint little restaurant 'Villa Vandre' in the by-lanes of Bandra. The restaurant has a homely feel to it and serves finger-licking dishes.

One person from your neighbourhood who makes your days easier...

The one person who makes my days easier is Salimbhai from Pavillion Stores, situated right around the corner of my lane. There's so much a house with two kids requires; Salimbhai prioritises even the smallest of our orders and that too happily.

One thing you don’t like about your neighbourhood...

The one thing that upsets me the most about my neighbourhood is the noise. There are constant traffic jams and people always seem to be in a rush.

One reason why you’d never move out of your locality...

I love my neighbourhood no matter what. Been born, brought up and married here, I'm more than comfortable with my neighbourhood. People are friendly and always eager to help. My kids' school is at a walking distance and so is my club, Khar Gymkhana, where I unwind and turn to for recreation. Lastly, and most importantly, my workplace and store is located in the heart of Bandra at Pali Naka. All of this makes my life easier.
