The documentary is based on the belief of the chef that food has the power to transcend all divisions and boundaries. It talks about how food is a uniting thread across religions, caste, creed, race and faith all over the world. Here's the trailer of Kitchens of Gratitude.
Vikas Khanna was the first chef ever to release his book, 'Utsav' at Cannes last year and this year he has crossed the boundary between food and film with this documentary. 'Utsav' is reportedly the largest compilation of festivals, traditions, ceremonies, rituals and food. (Fun fact: It weighs about 15 kg and has 1200 pages, making it the most expensive cook book in the world!)
Praise has been pouring in from all over as food is being celebrated in a grand way by the world-renowned chef.Take a look at some of thee wishes from people in the food industry!
.@TheVikasKhanna Congratulations Chef on this great achievement and making India proud in every part possible#KitchensofGratitude
