Clove has time and again toasted the season-less pulchritude of Indian craftsmanship. Further enhancing the allure of rustic earthiness, the significance of slowing down and eventually unravelling beauty and pleasure in a simpler way of life, Clove brought showcased Down to Earth a collection of two artisanal labels — Claymen and Lovebirds that stand true to the eternal concept of sustainable living.

Representing the allure of simplicity and style, and handcrafted with humble clay, Claymen objects are each a labour of love. When asked about his unique works of art, Aman Khanna, the founder of the brand said, “Some are functional and are built to perform the task at hand. Others incarnate the dysfunctionality intrinsic to society by hinting at the fragility of the human condition, albeit in a more general sense. Claymen figure sculptures are meaningful conversation pieces that tend to skip the small talk and get straight to the point.”

Lovebirds are known to epitomise the very essence of sustainable fashion in our fast-paced world — replete with native processes and their subsequent impact on our environment. Clove brought simplicity back in style with a beautiful curation crafted from the Earth, which go back to it after serving its purpose. In her selection of earth-rooted designs through this narrative, Clove’s founder, Samyukta Nair had handpicked a selection that resonated with her idea of enjoying the little pleasures of life. She says, “Down-to-Earth is an appreciation of simplicity and a welcoming of the wonders of slowing down in a fast-paced world.”
