The writer has said that the book that comes two years after his bestselling "Scion of Ikshvaku" (2015), will "not exactly be a sequel as it takes you back to the beginning".

"I have learnt many things, about our ancient stories and philosophies, the traditional way: through my family. My grandfather was a Pandit in Kashi. Both my parents are deeply religious.

"Also, I read a lot. I read 4-5 books every month. And I've been reading at that pace for decades. I guess that's how I've learnt much of the knowledge that goes into my books," Tripathi said in an interactive Facebook Live Session.

The 42-year-old author also said that more details, including the title of the book would be shared in another Facebook Live session on 22nd March at 7.30 pm, where Tripathi will be in conversation with Union Minister Smriti Irani.

The book is set to hit stands by "end of May or early June" this year.
