Will write chapters of win under him: Vasundhara Raje

When Prime Minister Narendra Modi was praising women of Jhunjhunu, glow on the face of the Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje said it all. 

It was a proud  moment for her that PM selected Rajasthan to launch two nation wide flagship campaigns on a day which coincides with her birthday. 

The presence of a large number of women and school girls in that launch ceremony doubled her delight.

“We will realise the dream which Prime Minister Modi has seen for the welfare of daughters and women. We will write a chapter of victories at the state and centre under your leadership,” she said while addressing public at the programme.

Raje said that Rajasthan has become a leading state in the field of women empowerment. “Whether it’s Rajshree Scheme or Padmakshi Scheme for bright girl students, we are doing everything to make daughters empowered,” she said. The chief minister said that girls of Rajasthan are becoming role models. She said Mohana Singh of Jhunjhunu is among the first three women of the country who fly the fighter Jet. Similarly Ishrat Ahmad is the first Muslim woman to get Commissioned in Indian Army as an officer,” she said.  

Raje said that the state has rolled out a large number of innovations to promote the birth of girl child and it is helping in the improvement of sex ratio in the state. Rajasthan has emerged from its BIMARU state to come back stronger during BJP rule.”Our women, our girls,our youth, infrastructure and economy are in a much better and stable state than in which the previous government left it,” she said.
