Six projects worth Rs 242 crore were dedicated to the public and foundation stones were laid on Thursday in the presence of large number of people of the region.
On the last day of her Hadauti visit, chief minister Vasundhara Raje was in Sangod (Kota) on Thursday where she launched various projects and also interacted with people during the Jansamwad programme.
Six projects worth Rs 242 crore were dedicated to the public and foundation stones were laid on Thursday in the presence of large number of people of the region.
These projects include inauguration of 33/11 KV GSS W, and a bridge on Ujad river in Sangod which was also dedicated to the people. The opening of this bridge for public will be a boon for the people of the region during the upcoming rainy season.
Long pending demand of a sub tehsil office has also been accepted and Raje laid the foundation for the building.
The other works included road development works and widening of road in the region including widening and strengthening of road between Vinod Khurd and Vinod Kalan, Khurd and Dabri, Kalan and Kuradia.
Raje during the Jansamwad heard the problems of people who had come with various demands. On getting complaints about contaminated water in various wards, she took it very seriously and ordered the superintendent engineer of the area to go on the spot immediately along with the people and resolve the compliant and inform her about the compliance. She also asked the engineers that they must ensure quality of drinking water and should visit their areas on a regular basis.
This apart, there will be roadways bus service between Sangod and Jhalawar via Dara. Order regarding this was given by Raje while listening to peoples’ demanded for bus service.
Raje also informed that agriculture electricity connections for which applications were received between 2011 and January 2012 will be issued before rains and demand notices will be issued between June 16 and June 20.
