BJP workers and leaders have been told by chief minister Vasundhara Raje to be active on social media and counter all propaganda against the party. She asked them to ‘use their brains’ to counter slander campaigns, which, she cautioned, would be on the rise in coming times. Raje said this while addressing party workers from Shergarh, Jodhpur who had come to express thanks to the chief minister for development works done in their constituencies. Raje also met party workers from Nadbai Bharatpur.

While speaking to BJP workers who had come to meet her, Raje said, “Social media is dangerous and in coming times we will need to fight a battle against slander campaign and propaganda. This will have to be done not just with strength but with brains.” Cautioning them against smear campaigns Raje went on to say, “They will write all sorts of rubbish against us, and now we have to be cautious against it. In earlier times political battles were fought face to face, but in today’s times they are fought on social media,” she told them. Raje today met party workers from Shergarh, Jodhpur led by legislator Babu Singh Rathore and from Nadbai in Bharatpur led by tourism minister Krishnendra Kaur.

The event had all the signs of showing that the BJP has moved into poll mode. Raje said development is possible only when people of all communities work together towards progress. She also said that the quantum of development done over the last four years is more than what Congress did in the last fifty.

She assured them that the drinking water project to benefit the districts of Bharatpur, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Dholpur, and Dausa would soon be completed.

Shergarh MLA Babu Singh thanked the CM for the unprecedented works done in the fields of roads, education, health, and electricity. Rathore and his supporters also raised slogans in favour of Raje. Tourism minister thanked the chief minister for the development works including a bypass and college.
