UGC’s NET 2018 exam held peacefully in Jaipur

There were 82 examination centres which made for the NET examination in Jaipur and Ajmer and about 58,000 candidates registered and nearly 16,000 candidates were absent during the examination.

University Grant Commission (UGC)’s NET-2018 exam for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for the eligibility of University and Colleges Assistant Professor was held peacefully in city on Sunday. 

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has organised this examination across the country. There were 82 examination centres which made for the NET examination in Jaipur and Ajmer and about 58,000 candidates registered and nearly 16,000 candidates were absent during the examination. 

The exam was conducted in 91 cities across the country and this time, there were two papers in the UGC Net Examination. 

The first paper was held from 9.30 to 10.30 am. While the second paper was from 11 am to 1.30 pm. In Rajasthan, the NET examination was held in Ajmer, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Bikaner and Kota. Candidates expressed happiness over the change in the pattern of examination.
