A full landscape park spread over 35000 square meter of land at Shipra Path is set to become the face of the Dravyavati riverfront project that is scheduled to be dedicated to public next month.

Among the three ‘theme parks’ being developed along the 47-kilometer length of the riverfront, the park at Shipra Path is equipped with amenities for all age groups. Work at this park is nearly complete and it is thus likely to host the inauguration ceremony.

The park along with regular features such as walking tracks and garden area will also have cycling tracks, open air theater, pond and separate areas for yoga and aerobics. There will also be the provision of an urban haat and food kiosks to provide more facilities for the visitors.

Meanwhile, works at Dravyavati projects gain pace as the monsoon showers take a break in the city. Heavy rains showers have caused a setback to the projects as several of the temporary structures had collapsed due to the inflow of water.

The project is scheduled to be dedicated to the public by next month and nearly 80-90 per cent work has been completed in all its component.

According to officials, earthwork has been completed along 40 kilometers of length while works on sewerage treatment components are also in an advanced stage. Work has been completed on over 83,000 square meter of the total 1,00,000 square meter area proposed to be developed under three parks along the project.
