Sachin Pilot, now president of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee was on tour to western Rajasthan on Monday.
Former union minister of state for Information and Technology, Sachin Pilot on Monday expressed concern over alleged ‘data leak’. Talking to media at Bikaner, Pilot demanded investigation by an independent private agency. “Data and Knowledge are strength of the country and the leak shall thus be considered seriously, the issue must be investigated through a non-government organisation,” said Pilot.

During the day he visited the Karni Mata temple in Deshnok, at Deshnok he also met Congress workers who had gathered in large number. Later while addressing media at Bikaner he attacked the BJP government at state, holding it ‘anti-farmer’ and ‘anti-youth’. “Its not us but the public that has termed the state government to be against youth, farmer and Dalit,” said Pilot. “The 25 quintal rider in produce purchase is disastrous for farmers, while development works by the government are only limited to paper work,” he added.
He ridiculed the assumptions of ‘cabinet reshuffle’ and proposed campaign ‘Yatras’ of BJP as futile exercise to win over the voters that have lost confidence in sitting government. However, he denied on any groupism within state Congress.
Congress to develop urban body cell
Congress members elected at various local bodies of the state gathered at party state headquarter on Monday, for a meet of the party’s local body unit. These elected representatives were addressed by party state president Sachin Pilot and State incharge Avinash Pandey. As the recent ‘bypoll’ victories got highlighted as reflection of depleting public support to present BJP government at state. The senior leaders also rolled out strategy for further strengthening the party.
