Rs 50,000 loan waiver for more than 30 lakh farmers in Rajasthan

The Vasundhara Raje government is offering a big relief to millions of farmers in Rajasthan under debt. The process of loan waiver of up to Rs 50,000 has been started for more than 30 lakh farmers. 

For this, the state government will set up camps in urban and rural areas, starting from May 26, in order to provide loan waiver certificates to the farmers. 

The camps will be set up at Gram Seva Sahkari Samiti or Atal Seva Kendra. Farmers, who have taken short-term loans from co-operative banks have been made eligible for the scheme.
