The passengers travelling to Abu Road, Mehsana, Ahmedabad and Sabarmati will be affected by this engineering work which is being done to set up a coach terminal at Sabarmati station.
About a dozen trains running through the state will be affected on Friday and Saturday due to the engineering work which is being done at Sabarmati station in Gujarat.
While a few trains have been cancelled for August 18 & 19 or just only on August 19, a few have been partially cancelled while for a few routes has been changed.
The passengers travelling to Abu Road, Mehsana, Ahmedabad and Sabarmati will be affected by this engineering work which is being done to set up a coach terminal at Sabarmati station.
Giving the information, chief public relation officer of NWR, Tarun Jain informed that train number 54805 which runs between Ahmedabad and Jaipur will be cancelled between stations of Ahmedabad and Abu Road on August 18 and 19.
Similarly train running between Jaipur-Ahmedabad has been cancelled between the Abu Road and Ahmedabad station on August 18.
Likewise 54803 Jodhpur-Ahmedabad will also remain partially cancelled between Aburoad and Ahmedabad on August 18 and 19 and 54806 Ahmedabad Jodhpur will remain partially cancelled between Ahmedabad and Abu Road on August 19.
Four trains have been totally cancelled which include Mehsana Abu Road 79437 on August 18 and 19 while Abu Road and Mehsana train number 79438 will be cancelled on August 19 and 20.
Passengers travelling between Ajmer and Ahmedabad train number 19412 will have to find an alternative as this train will remain cancelled on August 19.
Train number 19411 between Ahmedabad and Ajmer will also remain cancelled on the same day.
Apart from this, routes of some trains have also been changed.
The route of Jaipur-Bandra terminus train number 19708 will be Khodiaar-Chandlodia-Sabarmati on August 18 while route of some more trains have been changed on this day.
