RAS candidates of ’13 batch to get postings after Raje’s intervention

People from Kota division throng CM’s residence to attend Jansunwai

Chief minister Vasundhara Raje’s first Jansunwai for Kota Division held at her residence in Jaipur, on Friday, proved to be a blessing in disguise for the candidates who have successfully cleared the Rajasthan Administrative Services (RAS) exams in 2013 but are still awaiting postings.

They met the chief minister and apprised her of the delay in their posting. The CM immediately asked the officials of Department of Personnel (DoP) to issue them appointment letters. The officials told the CM that all papers relating to their recruitment were ready and by  next week they would get appointment letters.

Meanwhile, hundreds residents of the division comprising Kota, Bundi, Baran and Jhalawar attended the public hearing and narrated their grievances to the CM, who on the spot directed the officials concerned to take action in this regard.

“You not only listen to their grievances with patience but also dispose of them immediately,” said Raje to the officials who were present at the hearing.

Among those who attended the meeting were parents of Shubham Dixit who allegedly committed suicide by hanging from a ceiling fan at a hostel room in 2015. The parents blame the hostel owner for the suicide. But their plea was not seriously heard eithier by police or minister they have met so far. The mother of deceased student handed over an application to the CM in this regard.

Recently, the CM took the decision of holding pubic hearingat divisional headquarters level on Friday. The first one was held for Kota division and soon the COM will hold such hearing at other places.

Daily 15-kilometre roads are being laid across the state daily, Rs12 crore are being spent on various water projects and this apart 773 houses are being constructed daily and some people are saying that no work is being done under BJP government. Each BJP worker is working for 12 hours, said CM Vasundhara Raje while addressing a workshop of BJP mandal presidents on Friday.
