The brother of a teenage girl has filed a report of rape and murder against two persons after the victim died under suspicious circumstances in Matoda police station area of Jodhpur district. The girl’s brother has alleged that his sister was murdered after being raped and filed a report against some accused in this regard.
According to the police, the body of the teenager was found in a water tank with blood-stains on her clothes. On Monday, the police interacted with the relatives of the deceased girl and took details about the incident.
The brother of the deceased minor has accused one Achalram Meghwal and his partner Lalchand of raping his minor sister. He has alleged in his report that the duo first raped the minor and then threw the body in a water tank after killing her. He has further stated in his report that since the last one month, Achalaram Meghwal a resident of Kaleranar, was harassing his sister and was threatening to abduct her. On the night of October 12, his sister was sitting next to her parents and studying.
After that the youth fell asleep but when next morning he woke up he found his sister missing from her bed. He went looking for his sister and at four o’clock in the morning he found her blood stained body in a tank.
A post mortem has been conducted by the medical board and Matoda police said that they are yet to receive the post mortem report. The cause of death is not clear yet and it will be ascertained once the report is in.
Meanwhile, the deceased minor’s brother has alleged that the police are defending the accused. The police said that on the complaint of the deceased girl’s brother, a report has been lodged against Achalaram and his partner Lalchand and investigation is on.
