The education department has decided to monitor online that the teachers who have been transferred have joined the new post or not.

Mass transfers of the teachers are on cards as the department has lifted ban on transfer in the election year. Recently over 12,000 teachers posted in elementary education were transferred across the state.

The officials in the department feel that many teachers who have been transferred avoid resuming new posts and want to buy more time somehow to continue on their existing posts with an ‘arrangement’. This practice, the officials believe, may affect education of the students as schools reopen on June 20 after summer break.

Therefore, the head of the schools and education officials have been directed by the education department to relieve or post a teacher who has been transferred only through Shala Darshan Portal, a online platform where database of all schools is stored.

This would apprise the higher officials how many teachers have joined and relieved with just a click away and enabling them to ascertain which teacher avoided transfers too.
