Rajasthan BJP sends 25 raths to hear voters’ Maan Ki Baat

The nation-wide campaign of BJP to connect voters with its manifesto draft, ‘Bharat Ke Mann Ki Baat Modi Ke Sath’ was launched at Rajasthan on Wednesday.  

Union minister for information and broadcasting, Rajyavardhan Rathore flagged of 25 campaign vehicles from the party headquarters in Jaipur to mark the launch of the campaign. These chariots, over the next month will collect suggestion from public to be included in the party’s manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. 

“These vehicles will visit all the 25 parliamentary constituencies of the state and associate public with the manifesto draft process. People can submit their suggestions at drop boxes at the vehicles and these will later be submitted for consideration to Rajnath Singh for inclusion in the manifesto,” said Rathore. 

The Union minister also became pilot of one of the campaign vehicles as he reflected upon the party’s dedication towards the process. On the occasion he claimed that the BJP government at the Centre has fulfilled nearly 95 per cent of promises made in its manifesto of previous parliamentary elections. 

“The party delivers upon its promises because of its clear intention and policies,” he added.  In addition to the campaign vehicles, the party will also be inviting suggestions from public through social media, toll free calls and suggestion letters. 

The party envisaging to collect over 10 crore suggestions across country expects to connect to heart of as many voters. In Rajasthan too the party wishes to receive over a hundred thousand suggestion from each constituency. In this direction BJP has appointed convenors at district level and a training workshop for these will be held at BJP headquarters in Jaipur on Thursday. 

BJP targets 400

Adding further momentum to its election preparations, BJP state incharge Avinash Rai Khanna held a meeting of Jaipur loksabha constituency on Wednesday evening. Addressing gathering of the party office bearers from the constituency he said that election is not just for an individual candidate but for government of the country and BJP targets to gain more than 400 seats across the country.
