Rajasthan: BA cut-off in Maharaja College’s is 98.71 percentile

More than 40,000 students have applied for admission to the UG courses in Rajasthan University this year.

The first cut off list for the admission in the Undergraduate (UG) courses of Rajasthan University Campus and 4 constituent colleges has been released. Even after securing high percentage, students of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) could not get admission this year due to the implementation of percentile formula.

More than 40,000 students have applied for admission to the UG courses in Rajasthan University this year. The cut off list of Commerce College and Maharaja College was released on Monday, while the cut off list of Rajasthan College and Maharani’s College was released on Tuesday. 

In Maharani’s College, the first cut off list of the percentile of CBSE and RBSE students for BA part-1 in general category has been declared same on 98.71. Even after the same percentile, there is a considerable difference between the percentage of the students of both the boards. The students of the Class 12th of RBSE who scored 87.65 per cent marks got admission in the first list, while the CBSE’s students were given admission on 96.20 percentage.
