Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2018: In wake of election result, state police step up security

With the counting day upon us, the state police have stepped up security to maintain law and order. While the overall situation in the state remained peaceful during the poll day, barring a few incidents of groups clash, the police are now hoping to maintain similar decorum on Tuesday as well when the poll results will be declared.

Interestingly, several companies of the Paramilitary Forces have been sent back along with the teams of cops from neighboring states, however senior cops claim that the remaining forces are enough to maintain law and order. “Counting day is an important time for the police and thus we have drawn elaborate plans,” officials said.
