Hingonia Gaushala is planning to start Bull Safari for the visitors. Based on the lines of Tiger and Leopard Safaris, the tourists will now be able to see the cattle of cows, buffaloes and bulls roaming around in the open grounds. The visitors will be taken via car for the sighting of cattle in the Gaushala. There will be night and day safari both

The biggest Gaushala in the state, Hingonia Gaushala has around 20,000 cows. It is situated 15 kilometers from Jaipur and is spread across 1300 bigha of land. Known for the popular case of deaths of cows around 1.5 years ago, the place will now become a tourist spot. The initiative of Bull Safari is being taken by the Akshaya Patra Foundation and the safari will happen in Hingonia Punarvas Kendra. 

The construction work of cottages and shelter has been started for the safari.

Incharge of Hingonia Punarvas Kendra Radha Priya Das said, “A separate track is being prepared for Bull Safari along with the stay arrangements of the visitors. Along with the safari, the visitors will be shown the technique to get milk using advanced machines. The project is being examined on all the parameters properly by the Akshaya Patra Foundation management as they  do not want to make any mistakes.”

Manager of the Akshaya Patra Foundation said, “The initiative will not only make Hingonia Gaushala emerge as a tourist spot, but it will also provide additional income. The money can be used for taking care of the cows properly.”

At present, around 2,500 litres of milk is being collected in the Gaushala on a daily basis. Along with it, 800 packets of buttermilk, ghee and bottles of gomutra are also being packed for selling.
