To know the pulse of the area before election, chief minister Vasundhara Raje started her four-day tour of Banswara from Monday. She will also launch the ambitious farm loan waiver from the district on May 31.

Raje conducted marathon Jansamwad at Kushalgarh that went on for several hours as the CM heard grievances of several people of the region. During the session, a few farmers complained about electricity tripping on which the chief minister Raje handed over the list of sarpanchs to the officials and ordered them to take the feedback on electricity supply from them. Subsequently, the sarpanch’s of Jheekli, Vasuni, Rohania and Navagaon were called up on telephone and their feedback was sought. They informed that farmers were getting three phase electricity for six hours and single phase electricity for 20-22 hours. Also, after getting complaints against  development officer GP Vishvakarma, the state government suspended him.

Raje also said that Rajasthan is country’s first state where five medical colleges are being stared and added that in the coming days the shortage of doctors will be done with. She said that with medical college coming up in Dungarpur, the people in Banswara, Dungarpur and Pratapgarh and areas having tribals will get maximum benefit out of it.

Earlier during the day, Raje visited Jogania Mata Temple and addressed the people. She said that the government has taken all the possible steps for the development of the region. She said that 26 Gaurav Paths were constructed in the region while missing link work in 71 gram panchayats was completed. She informed that a project of about Rs 800 crore to provide water in 399 villages has also been planned and the work on it will be started from last week of June. CM Raje will be going to Mangarh Dham on Tuesday and will conduct jansamwad programme in Bagidora constituency and on Wednesday the programme will be held at Garhi constituency on May 31, she will distribute certificates to the farmers under the loan waiver scheme.

Earlier, CM Raje also visited Bhilwara and visited the house of member of parliament Subhash Bahedia to offer condolence on the demise of his father.
