A complaint has been presented against chief minister Vasundhara Raje and the then officials of GVK EMRI in a lower court of Jaipur. The complaint is in connection with giving contract of 108 ambulance operation to their favourite company. The court will record the statement of the petitioner on December 6 regarding the plea.

Agra Road resident advocate Sunil Kumar Sharma has said that a loss of Rs 40 crore has been cost to the exchequer in the 108 ambulance contract.

It was mentioned in the complaint that in the year 2008-2009, the state government had made provisions to provide immediate primary facilities at private level to the serious patients under Dhanvantri Rogi Vahan Yojana. Action was taken to give this project only to the Emergency Management and Research Institute of Hyderabad.

To give contract to the favourite firm it was said that the company should have more than 100 patient vehicle experience with a toll free number. At that time, this condition was only met by EMRI. Apart from this, the contract also included a firm which had no existence. At the same time, EMRI did not meet the condition of having GPRS. Despite this, the contract was given to the company. It is also mentioned in the complaint that Vasundhara Raje had given her administrative approval on April 16, 2008 to give the project to EMRI.

In September 2009, Joint Law Advisor had also made a note sheet by referring to several irregularities in this project, the complaint said.
