The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is engaged in making Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally to be held on July 7 as a talking point in city. The BJP, on Thursday, organised a cleanliness drive in all the 91 wards of the city.
BJP leaders including state president Madan Lal Saini and the state general secretary (organisation) Chandrasekhar participated in the drive, sources said. All office bearers of booths and mandals of Jaipur city and the district are involved in carrying out the task. The BJP had set a schedule of six-days to propagate PM visit. As a part of the schedule, the party is carrying out drives, candle light marches and is organising similar events in the city on a daily basis.
Under the cleanliness drive, the main temples, intersections and roads of every ward were spruced up. BJP state president Madan Lal Saini, former state president Ashok Parnami and other leaders cleaned the Mansarovar Sector 116.
BJYUM workers took out a motorcycle rally in all 91 wards. “Some 50,000 office bearers of Jaipur district shall be included in the event. “We have printed an invitation for the Prime Minister’s meeting and are delivering it the worker’s doorstep,” said Sanjay Jain, Jaipur city unit president of BJP.
