Justice Dalveer Bhandari gets rousing welcome in Jodh

“I always like to come here and I have a lot of love for this city,” said Justice Dalveer Bhandari on Monday as he arrived in his hometown after getting re-elected as a judge at the International Court of Justice (ICJ). A huge crowd, including his relatives, friends and general public, had gathered to welcome this proud son of Jodhpur.

Judicial officials, people’s representatives, entrepreneur, relatives, acquaintances and many social organizations were desperate to greet him with flowers and garlands. Bhandari did not disappoint anyone and smiled at everyone with affinity. Also, with folded hand, he greeted people with graciousness and did not forget to express gratitude to them.

Bhandari was accompanied by wife Madhu Bhandari and son Vinayak. As soon as he came out of the airport, his sister Nisha Sancheti welcomed him with the tilak. Later, the other sister Rakhi Rathore welcomed him with flowers. Many people including Mayor Ghanshayam Ojha, Jaipur Foot USA chairman Prem Bhandari, Congress leader Pawan Mehta, builder Sunil Bhandari, Oswal Singh Sabha officials and many people welcomed him. Simple natured bhandari who always keeps himself low profile, was seen joining hands and embracing to people and showing importance to relationships. He will visit Nakoda shrine on Tuesday morning and return to Delhi in the afternoon.
