Jolt to 20 Mins as Cong wins by-elections

The Congress won all bypolls, delivering a major blow to the ruling 14 BJP MLAs and 20 ministers. In order to win the by-elections, the BJP fielded more than half of its cabinet for campaigning which failed miserably.

There are eight assembly constituencies in the Ajmer Lok Sabha constituency and all the eight assembly constituencies had BJP representative. Anita Bhadel and Vasudev Devnani of these eight assembly constituencies are the ministers in the state government.

Anita Bhadel, represent Ajmer North and Ajmer South Assembly constituencies, while Shatrughan Gautam and Suresh Rawat have a status of the Minister of State. Similarly, there are eight constituencies in the Alwar Lok Sabha constituency which has 7 BJP MLA’s. Apart from Jaswant Singh Yadav (candidate), Hem Singh Bhadana is also the cabinet minister in the state government.

In order to win the by-elections, the state government ministers and the office bearers of the organization had assembly seat wise responsibility. If the result of by-elections is assessed, then the ministers and MLAs have failed completely to leave their influence on the people.
