With the by-elections inching closer,the BJP has gone in top gear during the final days of campaigning. Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje led the charge in Alwar by organising a roadshow for candidate Jaswant Singh Yadav on Thursday and addressed a gathering in Behror.
While addressing the people, Raje said that the BJP does politics of development whereas Congress works to divide the society.
Raje started the roadshow in an open jeep along with BJP state president Ashok Parnami and party candidate Jaswant Singh Yadav at 12 noon from Company Bagh. The procession route, which was via Manni ka Bar ended at Jagannath temple.
The 3 km roadshow lasted for about five hours. During this show of strength, Alwar residents, who shouted slogans praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM Vasundhara Raje.
The women welcomed Raje by offering Chunri and raised slogans in support of the BJP. During the roadshow, hundreds of people on the streets as well as on rooftops tried to get a glimpse of the CM. Jhalawar MP Dushyant Singh joined the CM during the roadshow as a common party worker. Yuva Morcha workers were walking ahead of the CM’s jeep.
State BJP in-charge Gopal Shetty, MP Narayan Pancharia, Sukhbir Singh Jaunpuria, Manoj Rajoria Hem Singh Bhadana, Surendra Goyal and other leaders were present during the roadshow. Raje prayed at the Jagannath temple and Tripoliya Mahadev temple and addressed the public at Tripoliya.

- The CM said Alwar is the gateway to the country’s capital Delhi from Rajasthan, so BJP has given full attention for the development of this area.
- There are BJP governments at both the places, and so, developing Alwar will not be a problem. She urged the people bring BJP with a thumping majority as he is an energetic leader who will bring development.
