Illicit Affair: I-T official kills wife, buries body

In yet another gruesome incident, an inspector in the IT department Lokesh Choudhary was arrested by the city police on Saturday for killing his wife Munesh Fouzdar and burying her body in the ground. 

A missing complaint was lodged by the victim’s father-in-law Brijendra Singh at the Gandhinagar Police Station on April 12 and the police immediately kick-started the investigation. 

Later, it was found that the inspector had an illicit relationship with a woman for whom he murdered his wife. 

Revealing details about the case, DCP Jaipur East Kunwar Rashtradeep said the father-in-law of the victim gave information to the police about his daughter-in-law, who went missing from her PG hostel in Bapu Nagar. 

A team was formed to carry out search operations of the missing woman and the CCTV footage of the area was examined along with mobile phone details of her family members, including her husband.

The father of the deceased Ram Kumar Sinsinwar had also filed an FIR mentioning that the in-laws of his daughter were torturing her for dowry and she had withdrawn Rs 10 lakh in February to give the money to them. Sinsinwar also claimed that his daughter was kidnapped and killed for dowry.

The police on Saturday interrogated Lokesh and vetted his mobile phone details.

Lokesh admitted that he and his Surat partner murdered Munesh and buried her body. The cops arrested Lokesh and are now trying to recover the body.
