Ranthambhore National Park holds a significant place for wildlife lovers all over the globe. Every year, a large number of national and international tourists visit the national park in summer as tiger sighting is common in this season. Along with tigers, leopards, panthers and sloth bears can also be spotted during these days.
Due to excessive heat, most of the animals are seen near ponds and holes of water as they spend most of their time there. This is the main reason that tigers and animals can be spotted easily by the tourists during summer season.
These days, the wildlife lovers and tourists are very happy as they are able to spot tigers regularly in Zone Number 2, 4 and 5 and thus their trip to the national park does not go in vain.
On the other hand, Zone Number 1, 2 and 3 are considered to be prominent as well. Tiger T-39 and its two cubs, Tigress Krishna and its three cubs is keeping the tourists engaged at all times in these zones. It is thrilling for the visitors to see the tigers going past the vehicles and roaming freely.
Alongside tigers, the spotting of sloth bears are also a delight for the visitors. The guides, drivers and forest department employees are also looking content with the sightings this year.
Moreover, this is helping the forest department in generating good revenue from the national park. The number of tourists has increasing as it is the end of the season at the Ranthambore National Park which will be closed on June 30 for a period of three months.
