During Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra, CM Vasundhara Raje to use helicopter in hilly areas

Raje will cover 165 assembly constituencies across the state and will cover only 27 out of 50 assembly constituencies of the Jaipur division.

CM Vasundhara Raje will cover the distance of 6054 km during her statewide  Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra scheduled to take off from August 4. After commencing the yatra from Rajsamand’s famous Char Bhuja Ji Mandir, the CM will shuttle in a helicopter on August 5 to reach Jhadol and Rishabhdev, given they being hilly areas. There is a slight change in the itinerary. Now, Raje will cover 165 assembly constituencies across the state and will cover only 27 out of 50 assembly constituencies of the Jaipur division.

State convener of the yatra and home minister Gulab Chand Kataria gave detailed information about the same during the press conference on Tuesday at BJP state headquarters. Kataria said, “The CM will not travel to the 23 assembly constituencies of Jaipur division and 12 assembly constituencies of other six divisions.” Former BJP chief Ashok Parnami, the current party president Madan Lal Saini also addressed the media.

After the yatra, major programmes will be organised in the remaining 35 assembly constituencies before the assembly elections to ensure every constituency is touched upon. The yatra will culminate on September 30. During the 40-day long yatra the CM will take 18 days break in phases dependent upon the assembly sessions, administrative work and festivals. The yatra will be carried out for seven days in three major divisions Udaipur, Jodhpur and Ajmer and in other divisions it will be of 4 to 6 days, and there will be 135 public meetings during the yatra. Kataria said that on August 4, CM  will visit the temple of Charbhuja Ji and the yatra rath will be worshipped and will be followed by a public meeting in Kankroli that will be addressed by BJP national president Amit Shah. Shah will flag off the Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra. On the last day of the yatra, PM Narendra Modi will address a public meeting in Pushkar.
